**Title:** Human Resources Generalist

**Pay Rate:** Depending On Experience ($30.000-$90,000)

**Direct Hire Opportunity**

The HR Generalist is responsible for providing service, advice, guidance and HR administration to all employees by following current departmental, country and global procedures.

**Main Responsibilities**

+ Coordinates new hire employee process, produces offer letters, requests references, conducts induction on first day of employment, adds new starter details to HRIS system.

+ Coordinates Employee exits; produces acknowledgement letters, sends line manager checklists, sets up exit interviews, updates systems.

+ Creates Redundancy - produce quotes, generates relevant paperwork, issues paperwork to employee when required, generates severance requests.

+ Coordinates leave administration - Facilitates LOA monitor on a monthly basis and advises when triggers are reached. Ensures all relevant paperwork has been completed and circulated.

+ Completes all people changes; generates appropriate paperwork and updates details into HRIS once approved.

+ Acts as the first point of contact for all day to day queries and ad hoc requests via telephone, email and face-to-face, both internally and externally, e.g. employment verifications, benefit questions, password resets, etc.

+ Participates in continuous improvement administration projects.

+ Assists in coordinating training, scheduling and tracking.

+ Assist with Benefits Open Enro0,00llment and year end processing activities.

+ Participates in PPDR process, Annual Salary Review and Bonus processing for employees.

+ Assists with compliance reporting and periodic audits as needed.

+ Ensures that all sites comply with US Employment/DOL postings.

+ Performs recruiting, including but not limited to sourcing, interviewing, and applicant tracking in job database.

+ Supports Line Managers in all matters relating to HR including guidance regarding terms and conditions, absence, performance matters, flexible working etc.

+ Provides advice, guidance and training on people policies, acting as first point of contact for such queries.

+ Assists HR Manager and Line Manager in the internal advancement and promotion of internal employees.

+ Maintains data in HRIS, updating HR records and employee files to ensure accurate records are always kept and that filing is in order and ensures that monthly global reporting deadlines are adhered to.

+ Responds to requests for management and numerical information as required, e.g. monthly and quarterly headcount, sickness absence reporting etc.

+ Champions wellness initiatives by setting up site events.

+ Supports the HR Manager and wider leadership team in the delivery of HR elements of organizational and cultural change activities such as restructure, including assisting with preparing necessary documentation, keeping records, tracking actions and ensuring that data is accurately maintained and consulting on issues related to change activities, and Redundancy.

+ Participates in internal and external audits of the HR function as required.

+ Assists with project work as determined by the HR Manager.

+ Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

+ Respectfully takes direction from [supervisor/ manager] and other duties as assigned.

**Skills / Knowledge / Experience**

**Education level**

+ Bachelors degree in HR or equivalent experience.

**Relevant Previous experience**

+ Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR Generalist role is required, preferably in a multi-state environment.

+ Experience working with sensitive and confidential information.

**Knowledge areas/Skills**

+ Experience with HRIS systems and internet/intranet.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.

**Other requirements**

+ PHR or SPHR Certification preferred but not required.

+ Able to handle heavy workloads and prioritize own work.

+ High level of integrity and professionalism.

+ Responsible with confidential and sensitive information while exercising a high level of tact and diplomacy.

+ Consistency in task completion, response time, and work efficiency.

+ A flexible approach, able to cope with a constantly changing environment and priorities.

+ Experience with HRIS systems and internet/intranet.

+ A good understanding of payroll, benefits and labor compliance is desirable.

+ Good communication skills, written and verbal.

+ Proactive, strong attention to detail and resilient, self-initiator, exercises good use of independent judgement.
