My name is George Rogers and I am a Recruiter with Kelly Services, Inc., a Fortune 500 workforce solutions company. We are currently seeking to fill an **HR Generalist** position in **Richmond, VA.** I have attached the details of the opportunity below:

**Duration: 6 months contract assignment**

**Pay: $31.00/HOUR**

We are seeking to fill the HR Generalist role at the Richmond, VA facility to support the daily operation of the HR department. As member of the plant HR team, representative will provide leadership with support for the site; accountable for HR value-add to the business to ensure maximum manufacturing operations, and positive employee and workplace relations.

**Main Accountabilities:**

+ Support in the delivery of HR services Global Shared Services

+ Assist HR Manager with project management, change management and/or organizational development.

+ Support facility leadership team in various aspects of employee administration practices and ensure the timely identification of issues/trends to make recommendations and provide solutions

+ Ensure that the HR practices and policies are in line with company guidelines, values and applicable labor laws

+ Serve as an advocate on behalf of all employees. Solicit and listen to employee's concerns with patience and respect and take active role in resolving problems.

+ Provide information, or facilitates employees ability to obtain information, about benefits, compensation, training and other Human Resources programs and services.

+ Assist in conducting investigations for employment-related claims

+ Provide coaching support to managers addressing employee conduct and performance issues.

+ Understand and respond to the business staffing needs. Support sourcing, screening and the hiring process of FTEs and contingent workforce.

+ Coordinate and leads new hire Orientation and on-boarding activities

+ Coordinate special events (annual employee events, special lunches and celebrations).

+ May assist the HSE Manager with site security related tasks on an as needed basis

+ Support in the preparation for compliance audits, reviews, surveys

+ Responsible for Kronos timekeeping reconciliation

+ Maintain accurate human resources information system records;

+ Assist with creating and running reports, analyzing HR KPIs trends and provide guidance on business and HR related issues to help drive improvements

+ Ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely data entries and accurate data audits

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience:**

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. MBA w/ HR focus or Master of Human Resources preferred

+ Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a relevant HR Generalist or comparable role

+ Candidates must have HR experience in a manufacturing setting interacting with production managers.

+ Experienced working in a fast-pace manufacturing environment preferred

+ Practical self-starter able to work with minimal supervision/support

+ Change management skills to drive sustained cultural change

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to partner with different audiences

+ Able to collaborate and work in a matrix organization

+ Basic knowledge regarding finance, economics and industry issues a plus
