**Kelly Services is currently partnering with a large company in Chicago for an HR Manager / Human Resources Manager!**


This is a direct hire role, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire!

**Details:**


+ Role: HR Manager / Human Resources Manager

+ Duration: Direct hire

+ Location: Chicago (Hybrid model 2 days in office, 3 days at home)

+ Salary: $105 - $120k

+ Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm


**Required Qualifications for the HR Manager**


**Must haves:**


+ HRIS Experience required

+ ADP Workforce Payroll experience or similar payroll system understanding. (will not be doing payroll but will oversee the HR Coordinator that will be).

+ 5+ years Human Resources Experience

+ Prior Human Resources Management experience

+ Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions.

+ Lead a team of 7 employees (prior experience overseeing a team required)

+ Must be open to 15% travel mostly to California during company Merger for onboarding.

+ 4 year degree in HR is a plus (ideal) not a must. Experience over 5 years can offset college degree.


**Responsibilities**


+ Performance evaluations for direct reports

+ Monitor team goals

+ Responsible for interviewing and hiring for the HR department

+ Oversee Payroll and Benefits Supervisor

+ Work closely with auditors

+ Leads HR process in mergers and acquisitions, onsite during acquisition to build HR relationship with staff and process new hire onboarding.

+ Travel back to acquisition site as needed to maintain relationships with and ensure process and policies are adhered to.

+ Provides HR metric reports such as turnover and HR Scorecard to guide decision-making and make data-driven recommendations.

+ Assists Payroll/Benefits Supervisor in administering health and benefit programs including coordination of annual plan renewals, changes, staff communication, and record management for billing and reconciliations. Manage relationships with brokers and vendors and facilitate their direct service to staff. Assist in the evaluation and selection of plans.

+ Maintains Human Resources Portal in employee Intranet and HRIS System(s).

+ Ensures timely and clear communication for all HR employee initiatives.

+ Responds to employee questions and concerns regarding benefits and other aspects of their employment.

+ Performs periodic and as needed review of compensation for positions through credible sources.

+ Ensures legal compliance and reporting requirements with ERISA, COBRA, ACA, EEO, ADA and other governmental regulations.

+ Maintains current knowledge and makes recommendations regarding Human Resources continued education initiatives including current HR industry best practices in employment law, compensation, talent acquisition, benefits, and public policy issues.

+ Ensures compliance with company policies, payroll, and employment records.

+ Supports and complies with all Company policies and legal requirements.

+ Leads HR audits and maintains process and relationships in mergers/acquisitions.

+ Supports VP, Human Resources and company stakeholders in various internal projects as assigned.


**Location**


This is a Hybrid position; The expectation is at least 1-2 days in our downtown Chicago office with the remaining days of the week being remote. Some daily travel to other locations within a 1 day drive of Chicago may also be needed (through rent a car of reimbursement if using own vehicle). Only considering candidates local to Chicago
