**Direct Hire Opportunity!**

The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with senior management team to support business initiatives as well as personnel management. They will run the daily functions of the HR department, including interviewing, and hiring staff, administering pay and benefits, along with other administrative Human Resources tasks. In addition, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of personnel, communications, and policy administration for two locations within the state of Utah

**A Day In The Life:**

+ Coordinate all recruiting and hiring efforts

+ Conduct all new hire on-boarding and orientations.

+ Maintain applicant flow records and employee personnel files.

+ Benefit Administration - Conduct Annual Benefit Open Enrollment and manage benefit plan offerings and

+ Payroll Processing & Administration - Perform all payroll functions for both hourly & salaried payrolls.

+ Assist with tracking regulatory complaints and safety related employee issues. Champion employee safety, wellness and well.

+ Prepare quarterly safety reports for managers and executive leadership team review.

+ Create and maintain Covid 19 policies, procedures, communications, and PPE requirements.

+ Manage, participate, and administer unemployment claims and hearings.

+ Complete and process employment verifications.

+ Labor Law and Regulatory Compliance state and federal labor and regular compliance laws including labor law posters.

+ Manage employee retention process and reporting.

+ Conduct exit interviews, turnover analysis and retention strategy.

+ Assess employee development needs and formulate training and development programs and initiatives.

+ Employee Relations - Conduct investigations related to employee, regulatory complaints or safety related issues and provide recommendation for appropriate action.

+ Workers Compensation - Manage all workers compensation claims and participates in claim discussions, reviews, and communications.

+ Implement and manage employee performance review process.

+ including holiday, tenure anniversaries and retirement parties.

+ Manage all employee incentive programs.

+ Manage and administer all leave of absence requests.

**Education and Work Experience Requirements**

+ Minimum of 5+ years Human Resources related experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment

+ Bachelors degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience and education.

+ Prior recruitment experience preferred (including recruitment utilizing staffing agencies)

+ Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and management.

+ Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening)

+ Problem solving and analytical skills.

+ Concern for the health and safety of the workplace

+ Effective HR administration and people management skills

+ Experience working with and supporting executive leadership strategies.

+ Skilled in handling multiple priorities with professionalism and poise.

+ Ability to be objective and calm during stressful situations.

+ Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.

+ Highly effective oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels within the organization.
