**Kelly Services** is currently looking for qualified **HR candidate** to join one of our premier partners in **Lodi, CA** . Our partner is a leader in the development, manufacturing and distribution of innovative foodservice packaging solutions.

This candidate will start as a Temp employee; however, the candidate will also be considered to be converted as a Direct Hire depending on performance.

**Pay depends on Experience:**

+ Temp position: $25-30/hr

+ Direct Hire: Salaried at $80k - $99k per year

**Duties and Responsibilities** :

1. This position supports the Lodi plant of about 100 employees and the Tumwater, WA plant of about 40 employees. Tumwater is supported remotely

2. Onboarding of new employees

3. New employee orientation

4. Time and attendance adjustments and payroll transmission

5. Oversight of Disciplinary action process, employee coaching, training and development, etc

6. Coordinating with Corporate LOA group and third party administrator in leave administration.

7. Participation in daily Tier I, Tier II and Tier III meetings

8. Participation in weekly GEMBA walks and production floor time to engage with employees

9. Completion of weekly safety observation tours and employee engagement tours

10. Management of sourcing and staffing plans.

11. Retention initiatives as developed by the HR Manager, Plant Manager and HRBP

12. Employee Engagement initiatives as developed by the HR Manager, Plant Manager and HRBP

13. Support and execution on continual employee training and development initiatives. A combination of initiatives developed at plant and corporate levels

14. Continuous collaboration with Plant Leadership team in achieving Safety, Quality, Service, Efficiency and People KPI

15. SAP and Success Factors is a plus for payroll software being used.


+ Bachelors in HR/Business Administration or related field

+ Can be substituted with 5+ years of experience as an HR professional

+ Proven experience in HR roles

+ Understanding of general HR policies and procedures

+ Good knowledge of employment/labor laws

+ Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus

+ Excellent communication and people skills
