Kelly Services is currently seeking a full time **ID Card Machine Specialist** for one of our top clients in **Chattanooga, TN** ! As a **ID Card Machine Specialist** , this position is responsible for the operation and routine maintenance and repair of the DataCard MX 6000 machines as well as the Syntera Server.





**Schedule** : 3rd Shift 10p-6:30a



**Pay:** $18.75





**Qualifications:**



High School Diploma or equivalent Experience



3 years experience operating ID Card Machine equipment or equivalent experience running various printing equipment (machines/presses/digital equipment).





**Skills/Certifications:**



Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)



Proficient oral and written communication skills



Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills



Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate and trouble shoot machinery accurately and quickly



Must have excellent attendance and be dependable.



Highly organized, high degree of independence, and detailed



The ability to quickly make decisions to ensure maximum productivity



Proven decision making and problem solving skills within a print environment a must.



Able to lift 50-60 lbs. and physically reach all components of the ID Card Machines is required.



Must be willing to train temporary staff for peak times needed.







**Job Duties & Responsibilities**



Responsible for the production of the ID card receipts on a daily basis and splitting receipts to gain maximum productivity.



Responsible for making daily decisions on what cards are the most critical to produce given customer demands in the event volume is too high to complete.



For special runs and re-issuing large volumes, responsible for organizing, prioritizing, and setting up work for each machine for back-up operators for their shifts.



Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on the DataCard MX 6000 machines as well as able to change the different belts, clutches, print heads, photocells, replace cables, motors, etc. to get machines back up and running as needed prior to calling in DataCard Engineer



Responsible for ensuring enough stock is on hand to meet production demands



Responsible for notifying management on the status, backlog, and any downtime.



Performs quality audit checks on each tray of cards to ensure the ID cards produced are readable, do not have any defects and information is not missing.



Responsible for meeting customer need dates on the mailing of the id cards and packets



Responsible for production reports



Responsible for Database clean-up including follow-up with Enrollment Specialists on accounts that the database indicates cards ordered but not produced to help ensure MTM timeliness goals are met.



In charge of plastic card recycling and responsible to call vendor when time to pick up and replace containers.



Back-up to Team Leader as needed



Must maintain knowledge of other processes in order to back up other duties, including, but not limited to: back scanning contract documents, and PO Returns.



Assure accurate and timely processing of other worked deemed appropriate by the Supervisor.



Must maintain quality of 98% or higher.



Must be able to work alternate shifts and weekends when needed
