**Job Description**

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

General Position Summary:

* The CSR provides all aspects of support to both external and internal customers.

* The CSR is required to enter quotes and orders into the computer system in a timely and accurate manner.

* The CSR supports the sales staff, the customer service manager, engineering and the Senior VP of Sales, Engineering and Marketing..

* The CSR functions as a liaison between Sales/Marketing and Production, Processing, Estimation, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Shipping and Receiving, Finance, Purchasing and Document Control.

* The CSR represents the company both on and off-site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Acts as the customer's point of contact with Customer

- Communicates extensively with all departments to ensure that customers- orders are manufactured and shipped within the customers- expectations.

- Tracks delivery commitments and on-time shipments.

- Communicates status of orders to customers.

- Generates reports as required

- Writes credits.

- Communicates any customer concerns, dissatisfactions, or complaints through established protocol.

- Maintains all documentation and processes necessary to preserve ISO-9001-2008 Certification.

- Investigate and report customer RMA's (Return Material Authorizations), due to nonconforming issues, analysis, reworks, complaints and misc.

- Participates in various internal meetings. (Occasionally external meetings).

- Keeps various computer data bases updated for use and access by their self and others.

- Inform manager of potential safety hazards.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Cross-trains other members of the CSR team.

- Maintains various logs for tacking purposes.

- Performs other duties as needed or directed by the CSR Manager.

Job Scope: Position operates from established procedures and deals with highly confidential information of a proprietary nature. Position manages a diverse range of work requests requiring a high degree of organization and self-motivation. Errors caused in this position will directly effect production and company revenues and possible loss of customers.


* High school degree or equivalent.

* Manufacturing background helpful.

* Requires a high level of computer skills.

* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

* Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate a high level of accuracy with data entry and proofreading.

*Customer service background necessary.

Interpersonal Contacts: Includes high level of standards in code of conduct & professionalism to deal with both internal and external customers. Internal customer contacts equal 70% of the job and external customer contact equals 30%.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Professional, fast-paced office environment with expectation of high standards in daily code of conduct. Pre-approved overtime occasionally necessary.

Physical Demands: Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend over and lift 20 lbs. Will get up and down from chair 30 - 50 times/day. Must be able to use hands and fingers.
