**Pay: $20 - 30/hr - $40 - 58K**

**Job Duties:**

This position oversees the daily operations of all activities for the server support function. This includes, but is not limited to, providing oversight, guidance, problem resolution, hardware and software procurement, and working daily with agency business units, contractors, and field technicians to solve problems at an acceptable level that supports the overall business goals.

**General Duties** :

This position is responsible for leading the server support group. This group provides services to central office, region, and institution staff.

Duties within this section include every day management of resources, evaluations, and other administrative duties involved with managing this group and providing an overall server support presence.

**Specific Duties** :

This position is responsible for ensuring the enterprise server infrastructure is up and running to meet the business requirements. This requires directing Server Support staff, resource allocation, planning, design, purchasing, and everyday maintenance to ensure the systems are available. It also requires continual work on creating standard configurations that are being properly updated with new technology, as well as having the insight to adjust as new solutions are available.

**Skills required:**

Technical education in Server Administration, Virtualized environments and 5 years exp of experience in leading and managing a technical team. Experience in leading technical teams. Experience in large scale storage environments, HyperV and VMWare.

**Knowledge and ability to utilize the current version of the following products** : Windows Server operating systems and configuration.

**Experience required:** 5+ years in a large-scale IT which requires 7X24 support

**Education required:** Technical education
