Insurance Policy Clerk - Current Job Title Licensing Associate Proposed Job Title Department Lifecycle Solutions Reports To Manager, Online DMV, Tolls, Violations Principal Duties and Responsibilities Describe, in order of importance, the major duties and responsibilities of the job under typical circumstances. Any duty taking less than 5 of time should not be listed unless it is a critical aspect of the position. of Time Duties 1000 Manage and follow-up on open renewals/ transactions to ensure completion prior to expiration for assigned state portfolio Complete research and solve issues that impact vehicle registration Communicate effectively with clients, drivers, suppliers and internal partners to ensure completion of renewals Complete requests for duplicate registrations, corrected registrations and replacement plates Update the re-registration system with accurate, current status information within 24 hours Demonstrates teamwork by sharing knowledge and assisting fellow team members when need arises Maintain, update and follow Re-registration processing procedures Purpose and Accountabilities Why does the position exist? What is the expected end result? This is the ultimate objective of the job and is what the incumbent is held accountable for accomplishing. As the Licensing Associate, you will keep all client vehicles legal and on the road by renewing registrations for vehicles that require renewal. You will pull reports for upcoming renewals, follow up with agents to keep timelines set, counsel vendors on expectations, and control processes to make sure client expectations are being met. Scope and Impact Describe the level of responsibility, both operational and financial. What impact does the position have on its specific area, other departments, the company as a whole, external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers or others? What effect or influence does the position have on controlling costs, generating revenue, managing profit or managing the overall financial results of the company? The employee would not have any direct reports Position Requirements Education and Experience High School Diploma, 2- or 4-year degree preferred Ability to work in our Sparks, MD office Monday - Friday Title experience preferred Customer Service experience MS Office proficient in the following Excel ability to add data to cells, use functions, pivots, sort data Word ability to create documents Career Ladder Propose future career track opportunities for incumbents.
