Kelly Services is now seeking to fill a direct placement opportunity for a Personal Lines Manager in the Litchfield County area


+ Oversee the Personal Lines Service, Marketing & Reception staff including hiring, training and staff development through Continuing Education.

+ Establish performance goals with staff and conduct annual performance reviews.

+ Coordinate Department Staffing to maintain Customer Service standards during vacations and absences.

+ New Employees & P/L Producers establish carrier credentials for each employee and enroll in PL Rater (applicable to Marketing & Producers).

+ Implement & Promote Technology Initiatives designed to enhance and create efficiency within the Personal Lines Service & Marketing Department.

+ Implement, Maintain & Update the Personal Lines Service, Marketing and Sales Procedure Manual.

+ Monitor compliance with Personal Line Procedures by conducting random Quality Control audits.

+ Work with Automation Manager to ensure quality data entry of premium & producer account designation.

+ Responsible for Weekly Work Not Done Status reports to Senior Management and staff weekly. Implement Team Action Plan upon review of Weekly Report for corrective actions when necessary. (Transitional)

+ Responsible for Maximizing Agency Revenues and Profit Sharing Agreements.

+ Establish Annual Agency Goals; Review status quarterly.

+ Organize, Implement & Monitor Book Transfers at direction of Senior Management.

+ Conduct regular communication meetings with staff, Personal Lines Sales Manager as well as communications with all departments.

+ Attend Personal Lines Sales Meetings monthly.

+ Monitor New Business policies written by Carrier and by Producer/Marketing Department to discern New Business Flow to our Carriers. (Transitional)

+ Implement, Track and Monitor Cross Sell and Upsell Goals for the Department for discussion at P/L Service Meetings.

+ Implement and Monitor Life and Health Lead Generation within the P/L Service Department.

+ Coordinate any coverage issues that may arise with Claims Staff.

+ Responsible for reviewing New Business and Rewrite applications for both Sales and Service Staff for completeness, proper forms and Agency Guidelines adhered to.

+ Contact Producers/CSRs for items missing from the Agency Client Core File with copy to the Sales Development Manager.

+ Monitor compliance with Agency Underwriting Guidelines by Producers & Service Marketing staff for profitability.

+ Manage removal of Core Files, Transactional Files and New Business Policy Files on Lower Level for cleanliness, organization and availability of adequate space.

+ Establish relationships with Carrier Marketing Representatives & Underwriters; act as company liaison.

+ Attend Seminars, Company Meetings or Educational Activities to keep pace with latest developments in the marketplace and maintain required licenses.
