Description Kelly Services® is proud to offer an exciting summer internship opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic student in the Immunopharmacology Group with a top Pharmaceutical Research and Development company located in Spring House, PA.

The team you will be part of develops treatments that improve the health and lifestyles of people worldwide. Research and development is focused on novel targets for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, but also includes CNS, oncology and metabolic disorders. You will participate in studies focused on rheumatological diseases. Experimental approaches include both in vitro and ex vivo pharmacology. The successful candidate will be familiar with a variety of basic laboratory techniques and experience working in a laboratory environment, including experience in aseptic cell culture and in vitro immunoassays. This assignment offers an undergraduate the opportunity to work as part of a cross-functional team in a pharmaceutical laboratory setting. This direct exposure will allow the student to participate in the planning, execution, analysis and reporting/presentation of experiments under the guidance of experienced scientists. Interested candidates should have a strong desire to learn the drug development process and contribute to improving the health of people worldwide.

**Qualifications**


+ Current undergraduate student working towards a degree in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences and other life science related fields of study
+ Hands-on laboratory experience is highly preferred.
+ Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable and have excellent problem solving skills.
+ Extensive PC based skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required.
+ Qualified candidates must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
+ Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
