Our construction/infrastructure client in Albion, NY is looking for an experienced Cycle Count- Inventory Clerk.

This is a Contract position for about 6-months (through the end of March) and eligible for Kelly Services Contractor perks such as Medical, Dental, Vision coverage through the ACA compliant healthcare plan.

Pay rate: **18.00 per hour** ; projected start date is September 28th. Position will be on site and the contract is through March 27, 2021.

Schedule: This is a full-time (40-hours a week). Hours are Monday-Friday 1st shift- 8:00am-4:30pm (1/2-hour lunch)- some overtime may required

**Job duties include:**

Research and maintain inventory integrity.

Review and ensure accuracy of daily production (FLOOR) inventory report.

Research and correct all negative floor inventory, determine root cause for negative and implement corrective actions.

Enter all movements of raw materials from the warehouse to the FLOOR (SU Tag movements).

Research inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Work closely with Production Planners, Cost Accountant, and Plant Controller to ensure materials are back-flushing correctly and Bill of Materials accurately reflect materials being used in production.

Verification of raw materials receipts by physical count and correlation to Bill of Lading, ensure accurate receipt of material in SAP

Ensures that established Cycle Count Schedules are maintained. Performs daily/weekly cycle counts as well as annual physical inventory counts and consolidations.

Complete Inventory control reports.

Work with Quality Department to transcribe production log data into production database for analysis.

Must work in a manner that is safe while continuously ensuring accuracy and performance expectations are met.

Responsible for performing BBS and other audit programs, as well as maintaining 5S scores.

Responsible for observing safety precautions at all times.

Performs related miscellaneous work as required, and as instructed by other supervision.

Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment. Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor or Cell Lead

**Job requirements:**

High School Diploma (or GED) is strongly preferred

Ability to frequently bend, kneel, reach, and sit or stand for long periods of time

Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Experience working with logistics and transportation distribution

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
