**_$20-$24/HR M-F 6:00AM-2:30 PM_**

The **Inventory Control Specialist** is responsible for overseeing inventory control and accuracy; investigating root causes of inventory inaccuracies; and recommending improvements to minimize inventory discrepancies. The Inventory Control Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring production areas and prioritizing kitting of manufacturing work orders; picking and kitting production orders; and controlling material movements to cleanroom and packaging areas.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have good written and verbal communication skills along with 5-10 years of experience in inventory management roles, preferably in medical device or regulated industries. The ability to use a computer, data entry systems and Microsoft Office Applications is essential. Also, high attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are a must. The candidate needs to be able to lift 50 pounds and have the ability to stand long periods of time in a warehouse environment.


+ Perform inventory control tasks such as cycle-counting, inventory reconciliation, inventory adjustments, and periodic physical inventories.

+ Pick, kit, and issue inventory parts to production areas in an accurate and timely manner.

+ Maintain correct work order records and traceability by accurately verifying and documenting all quantities, part numbers, and lot information.

+ Identify areas of improvement and recommend and implement improved inventory control processes.

+ Train warehouse personnel in accurate inventory management practices.

+ Follow FIFO (First In First Out) methods of stocking, rotating, and pulling material.

+ Follow departments SOPs and work instructions to move material to and from different warehouse and manufacturing environments while maintaining all material identification and traceability.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete all assigned housekeeping tasks.

+ Practice safe work habits and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.


+ High school diploma or equivalency, Associates degree in logistics or inventory management is a plus

+ 5-10 years of warehousing, materials and inventory control preferred

+ Inventory control certifications a plus

+ Knowledge of inventory control, physical inventory, inventory management, and experience with transactional based inventory and distribution systems is required

+ Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack

+ Proficient at math

+ Experience using weigh scales to perform tare functions

+ Must have the ability to track and resolve inventory discrepancies

+ Possess problem-solving skills to develop ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems

+ Excellent organizational skills
