Kelly Services is looking to hire an individual with prior administrative experience to perform inventory, purchasing and support tasks required to ensure inventory levels are maintained for equipment and spare parts, equipment records are kept current and providing support to other administrative functions as needed for a well known, global company in St. Joseph, Missouri.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Maintain and manage inventories in parts rooms by:

a) Checking stock levels of self service parts and replenishing them as necessary

b) Generating purchase orders from the Computerized Maintenance Management System and ordering parts to replenish controlled inventory

c) Conduct quarterly cycle counts in parts rooms

d) Maintain organization of parts room

e) Entering new parts into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (MP2)

f) Labeling bins / shelves as necessary

g) Follow good accounting principles to assure compliance

Purchase equipment and spare parts for the maintenance and Site Services teams.

Conduct any other necessary purchasing activities for the department

Ensures department documentation is compliant

Reconcile credit card(s) at the close of billing cycle to insure that items have been charged to the proper account

Create new equipment records and associated spare parts lists in CMMS (MP2)

Initiate weekly work order generation to trigger the creation of scheduled PM s and tasks

Review work requests entered into the CMMS and convert them to work orders

Transcribe telephone and email work requests to CMMS work orders

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain safety inspection records & database of safety equipment

Maintain equipment records, manuals & database

**Requirements**

**High School Diploma or G.E.D.

**Strong computer skills with proficiency using the software in Microsoft Office

**Excellent grammar and spelling skills

**Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

3+ years experience in an administrative role

Previous experience working in the field of facility maintenance using CMMS (e.g. MP2)
