Our client, an American industrial company, is currently seeking an IT Asset Manager for a 6 month contract. The position is located in Oshkosh, WI.

By working for our client, you will be exposed to a industrial company that designs and builds specialty trucks, military vehicles, truck bodies, airport fire apparatus and access equipment. You will work in a fast-paced corporate environment and be an integral part to the team.

The Hours and pay for this position are:

+ 8:00a.m. 5:00p.m. Monday Friday (10% travel required)

+ Pay is up to $55.00 per hour W2

**Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):**

+ Responsible for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.

+ Develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their life cycles.

+ Design and execute asset management policies, procedures and processes.

+ Coordinate with management in utilizing the asset management tools to analyze, review and track asset data.

+ Develop asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location and contracts.

+ Manage asset reconciliation and lease agreements.

+ Educate team members about company policies.

+ Assist in inventory management and procurement activities.

+ Support contract negotiation, contract renewals and vendor management activities.

+ Monitor software licenses to ensure they comply with license agreements and usage standards.

+ Collaborate with management to define cost savings, asset compliances and service improvements.

+ Facilitate audit compliance for IT assets.

+ Guide IT asset analysts in the daily administration of asset management activities.

+ These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent and three (3) to six (6) or more years of experience in Information Technology or Finance/Accounting or related experience. Must be able to interact with company personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understand business imperatives. Must be able to maintain a high level of technical expertise, staying abreast of new technologies and practices. Must have a strong understanding of the business impact of IT tools, technologies and policies. Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, management and business personnel. A graduate degree in Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, Management or equivalent preferred. Relevant industry recognized certifications (e.g. ITIL, COBIT, specific functional area certifications) preferred. Must be able to travel up to 10%.
