**Essential Duties:**

· Lead a technical group responsible for developing software, conducting unit testing, working with assigned QA staff and/or project manager to coordinate/assist in user testing procedures

· Develop documentation as appropriate

· Consult with other Software Engineer Managers, Infrastructure/Network Managers, and Project Managers to evaluate database designs, system structures, interfaces between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system

· Assist in development of technical and documentation standards

· Work with on-site or internal project managers or analysts to review problems, define and test solutions, and develop reports for user management

· Run the daily “block & tackle”, which includes:

+ Daily standups
+ Identifying and removing Roadblocks
+ Intake Features and understand how they align to projects and timelines
+ Helping teams break down work
+ Keeping pressure on the team to progress tasks and hit timelines
+ Monitoring team performance and providing feedback/examples on who’s struggling/excelling
+ Enforcing code reviews and high standards
**Minimum Requirements** :

· Bachelor's degree with focus in a related area

· Strong aptitude for understanding and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources

· Able to perform complex analysis of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems

· Development in SQL Server 2008 or later

· Microsoft Stack

· T-SQL Stored procedures

· Source Code Control (Team Foundation Server)

· Experienced in understanding code

**Bonus Things:**

· Work with Leads and Solution Architecture to focus on Engineering Initiatives to improve Quality, Stability, and Productivity and overall documentation to create an Engineering Vision; i.e. Best Practices, Coding Standards, etc.

· If individual has written .NET code (preferably C#), that is a big BONUS – but again, to be clear, this role isn’t expected to write code (just having some experience doing it is “nice-to-have”)
