Kelly Services is seeking an IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support Analyst to join their team in Charleston, WV for a major North American energy company that develops and operates energy infrastructure and three core businesses: Natural Gas Pipelines, Liquids Pipelines and Energy. **Desktop Support (Junior)**


**~12 Months (contract W2)**

**Pay Rate: TBD/BOE**


Description:


Core Responsibilities:


+ Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance or requesting IS services over the phone or chat.

+ Take detailed notes of the problem the user is experiencing, determine steps they can take to resolve the issue, and manage the flow of incoming support requests.

+ Provide support for all end user computing services including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, audio visual equipment and associated software.

+ Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests for workstation services.

+ Analyze incidents and escalate if corporate wide solution is required.

+ Document work logs and resolution of tickets in our ServiceNow system to ensure that theinformation is available to the rest of the End User Services team and the Service Desk.

+ Develop Knowledge Base articles based on resolution of incidents.

+ Assist with problem management.

+ Other tasks as required.


Qualifications:


+ Understands and has a working knowledge of the broad range of information technologyservices and specifically direct experience with End User Services technologies is required.

+ Excellent customer service skills.

+ Strong problem solving and analysis skills.

+ Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a team environment.

+ Strong planning and organizing skills with proven ability to effectively prioritize a high volume of requests on a daily basis.


Education/Experience:


+ A Degree in Computer Science/related technical discipline or equivalent working experience.

+ Minimum of 1 year direct hands on experience (individuals with less direct experience may be considered.

+ Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and/or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert certification or similar relevant experience would be considered an asset.

+ Direct experience with Windows 10, Microsoft productivity tools (e.g. Exchange, Office, SharePoint, Teams) and iOS; Intune (MDM), RSA, Adobe apps, ServiceNow and SCCM) would be an considered an asset.

+ Knowledge of IT Service Management or ITIL principles would be considered an asset.
