We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join out IT Innovation Team.


This role will be a hands-on resource reporting to the Senior Director, IT Innovation.


**Description** :

Integrates resources effectively, including resources under the direct control, or controlled by contractors, vendors, etc. Assists with the preparation and monitoring of teams budget. Takes a business approach to planning, coordinating, scheduling and managing resources, considering the future needs of the business, as well as functional and organizational polices and precedents. Continually improves work procedures and processes for IT Innovation. Focuses on managerial concerns of the area such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation.


**Specific job responsibilities:**

Assist the IT Innovation Team to further advance the innovation program from all aspects. Works closely side by side with the Innovation project coordinator on the team.

Process each innovation idea received. Work with the submitter to understand the whole picture, determine next steps, find and collaborate with colleagues who may help in advancing these ideas. Guide Ideator through innovation process, follow up on progress and provide appropriate guidance.

Manage idea management platform. Create and execute a vision of the tool, set it up, and create and launch idea challenges.

Create content for the various innovation community roles. For Innovation Advisors, ensure they are involved when ideas need feedback which could range from online surveys to one-to-one interviews. For Innovation Champions, create and maintain content for them to use and follow up for progress and feedback. For Innovation Coaches, determine coaching topics, create and launch training program, deploy coaches, and follow up for feedback.

Define and maintain innovation metrics, determine how to routinely collect them.

Run virtual Kickbox workshops. Prepare materials, acquire participants, conduct workshops, and get feedback.

Oversee quarterly Innovation Newsletter creation, brainstorm content, write articles, and making a coherent overall aesthetic including design and images.

Ensure Knowledge Base continues to build new content.

Organize ad hoc innovation activities as they arise.


**Knowledge:**

Possesses a basic understanding, but is continuing to gain expertise, of our clients organizational structure. Possesses good working knowledge within one or more IT areas or disciplines, typically working independently within their area of technical/functional expertise. Able to come up to speed quickly in other areas of expertise relevant to the success of the project or program.


**Skills:**

Self-starter. Effective communicator. Able to quickly determine the right people to engage and build strong relationships across the company. Flexible and productive in an ambiguous environment. Great people person and interacts well with team members or speaking with business colleagues. Influences others to help with initiatives even when they are not in the same reporting structure. Quickly picks up on various software tools. Works efficiently by automating as much as possible instead of tackling routine tasks manually. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 toolset.

**Experience and Education:**

8 years of relevant IT or technology experience, BS in Computer Science or related field.

**Top 3 Must Haves:** Microsoft Office 365 proficiency, Fast learner of new software tools, affinity for technology
