Description **IT Project Manager**

**Job Summary:**

This is a long-term contract position responsible for all elements of project management for various IT systems currently deployed within our clients IT environment.

**What You'll be Doing:**


+ Responsible for project management including resource allocation, establishment and achievement of milestones, cost management and coordination of project teams.
+ Provides business, technical and project management direction to team members designing, developing, implementing procedures, systems, forms and documentation related to business systems.
+ Resolves support requests related to business systems.
+ Oversees team responsible for development of functional design specifications for enhanced system functionality, provide functional support to the development team, and facilitates user acceptance testing by business teams once completed.
+ Provides direction to subject matter experts in the creation of ad hoc queries of system data.
+ Manages projects related to the enhancement or further implementation business system footprints.
+ Acts as a liaison between IT management and user groups providing timely and accurate project information.
+ Oversees regression testing activities with the business teams in support of system functionality releases, patches and upgrades.
**Technical Skills:**


+ All projects will be managed in MS Project.
+ Competency in Oracle Discoverer or similar business intelligence tools
+ Manage 100+ implementation items for Midstream operations that require hand-offs from 4-7 teams.
+ Manage project activities related to the following Midstream initiatives:

+ Hyperion

+ ETRM

+ Leak Detection (software and process implementation)

+ Houston Operations Control Center implementation

+ ServiceNow
**Education:**

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Management Information Systems.

**Industry Experience:**


+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the upstream Oil & Gas industry with a thorough knowledge of field data capture, production accounting, and regulatory reporting business processes.
**Nice to Have:**


+ Accounting background
+ Business Intelligence experience
+ Cost Management proficiencies
+ Focus on documentation
