EXPERIENCE REQUESTED:




+ Experience in technical maintenance of a Windows network supporting Windows clients, MS Office, and MS Exchange.

+ Experience with AVAYA phones, SAP, Sharepoint and experience in a Life Sciences manufacturing environment is a plus.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



Install computer software on desktop and laptop computers (i.e. Microsoft and lab software)



Install and configure network devices (i.e. desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, phones etc.)



Perform user help desk functionality for resolving user problems with PC hardware, software, mobile devices, printers and network connectivity.



Identify, remediate, and report on security alerts (viruses, malware, compliance, etc.)



Assist in the maintenance and administration of local area networks, including resolving system problems, including patch management.



Take an active role in the training and education of users specific to network and desktop applications.



Ensure all backup procedures are adhered to and verify system backups are properly executed.



Execute all regulatory and departmental procedures ensuring compliance at all times.



Provide technical assistance to in the maintenance and support of wide area network, wireless network, Internet communications and database applications as required.



Perform data termination/activation of data drops



Assist in relocation of PCs on the network



Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN



Maintain a current and accurate inventory of all IT equipment across the organization





TALENT/COMPETENCIES:




+ Strong consultative and communication skills, analytical ability, judgment and the ability to work effectively with client and other systems technical staff, consultants and vendors.

+ Follow up on open issues with customers, colleagues, and key stakeholders.

+ Planning and executing projects on-time, while learning new businesses and technologies.

+ Ability to work independently and in a small team as required

+ Understand and general troubleshooting of Microsoft Office products (Office 365, Word, Outlook, Excel).

+ Knowledge of SAP is a plus.





EDUCATION PREFERRED:




+ Associates Degree in Computer Science

+ MCSA
