Kelly Services in partnership with our Pittsburgh, PA customer are searching for an experienced REMOTE Instructional Designer to cover a maternity leave.



Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Learning and Development, the Instructional Design is responsible to contribute to the Evoquas global Talent and Learning strategy and direct the execution of related initiatives and activities. The Instructional Designer is responsible for the design, development and delivery of training for moderate to high complexity technology-based solutions for all functions.



In this position you will:




+ Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content

+ Work with subject matter experts to identify target audiences training needs

+ Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them

+ Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product

+ Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design

+ Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process

+ Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)

+ Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course

+ Maintain project documentation and course folders

+ Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational, collaborative, communication, facilitation skills

+ Knowledge of adult learning theories, assessment and evaluation methods and industry best practices in eLearning, developing for results, and blended learning solutions; including micro-learning content design for the modern learner

+ Proven ability to effectively help bridge the gap between technical/process knowledge, compliance requirements and day-to-day work instructions

+ Lead large and mid-scale learning /instructional design projects across the organization and implements and launches training that addresses the needs of multiple user groups

+ Manage instructional design projects from assessment through implementation using an iterative approach to gain buy-in and commitment from internal clients

+ Collect and analyze training course evaluation data, modifying the training approach to improve effectiveness as needed



Education: Bachelors Degree and at least three years of Instructional design experience



Experience Needed:




+ Experience with current e-learning technologies; SCORM and AICC standards; and e-learning development tools (Storyline, Articulate, Captivate)

+ In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

+ Lesson and curriculum planning skills

+ Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge

+ Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator)

+ Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts

+ Experience managing multiple projects and learning programs

+ Solid knowledge of programming, course development software and at least one LMS (SAP Success Factors LMS used in-house)

+ Ability to work with and manage vendor relationships and budget requirements
