**Kelly Technology** is recruiting for a **Help Desk Support Technician** with a dynamic organization in the **Tampa, FL** area.



The function of the Helpdesk Associate Engineer is to manage incoming calls to the Helpdesk, act on assigned open tickets, and work in collaboration with other?engineering members to resolve customer technical issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain maximum customer satisfaction second to none.



These individuals will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions. Working with a company, these professionals must be great communicators and be able to translate their technical knowledge into actionable direction and provide a prompt response to our clients. Outstanding Customer Service must always be a priority.



**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**



Manage incoming calls to the Help Desk via both telephone and email to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.



Perform thorough troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting of networked and standalone computers and printer hardware.



Coordinate and perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications Assess need for any system reconfigurations based on a request Provide one on one application support as needed.



Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of help desk technology procurement and development efforts.



Ensures long term care practice standards are met.



Work in a 24/7 Shift Environment.



Provide excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal skills.



Helping and extending support to the existing core IT team in their day to day functions.



Assist with disaster recovery operations.



**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**



Knowledge of installing, troubleshooting, repairing and supporting network, server, computer, phone system, and printer hardware, Windows 7, Windows 10 and Thin Client workstations and laptops.



Local and Remote Support on Desktop/Laptop to the users.



Virus management, containment and remediation on user Desktop/Laptop.



OS and Application Installation on user Desktop/Laptop.



Microsoft Office Suite 2003, 2007, 2010 and Office365.



Active Directory Understanding OS Networking model.



Knowledge and relevant experience with Microsoft based networking technologies such as DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP.



Understanding of imaging, Scripting, OS and Application Installation on user Desktop/Laptop.



Basic knowledge of various WAN/MAN/LAN technologies for office interconnectivity.
