Kelly Services is seeking a **Job Architecture Consultant** for one of our leading clients.

**Job Title:** Job Architecture Consultant

**Location:** Madison, WI

**Type:** ONLY on W2 contract (NO C2C)

**Length:** 5 months

**Pay Rate ** $55 - $63 per hour

**Job Description:**

The effectiveness of a technology implementation depends on the integrity of the data that will be integrated into the system related to employees, jobs, levels, and hierarchies. Poor data, such as multiple titles for the same work and job titling structures that do not support consistent leveling or valuing of jobs, lead to inaccurate and less than useful HR reporting. Additionally, outdated, or unclear job progression impacts the effectiveness of talent programs, such as recruiting, learning and development, and performance management.

As a Job Architecture Consultant, you will help us define the future of work by developing job structures across the organization, which serve as a foundation for current and future talent processes.

Job architecture work will encompass gaining a firm understanding of our current state and thoughtfully executing the following:

+ Identify and extract organizational data necessary to analyze job architecture

+ Develop and define job functions and job families

+ Generate consistent standards for job levels

+ Develop and define management levels used for eligibility and reporting

+ Develop standards for job titling conventions

+ Develop a simplified Pay Grade structure while maintaining details necessary to support union step progressions

+ Recommend compensation strategies that align with newly created job architecture

+ Advise how Job Architecture work aligns with workforce planning and broader talent strategy

+ Assess and advise on how these changes may impact the approach for collecting and reporting HR data

+ Assess impact on role-based permissions and eligibility rules within Workday

+ Participate in the setup of updated frameworks in Workday

+ Create a crosswalk to map current jobs into new architecture

**Skills for completing this work include:**

+ The individual will possess a firm understanding of the unique challenges of analyzing and managing HR data architecture and business processes within a regulated organization.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of compensation functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Job Architecture, Compensation program design, compensation functional design, M&A integration support

+ Strong client presence with project management, presentation, and facilitation skills

+ Ability to succeed in team-based or independent environments

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence

+ Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM

Experience with Peoplesoft and JDXpert is helpful
