Our client, a large biopharmaceutical company, is currently seeking an **Jr. Project Coordinator** for a **3+ month contract position** with opportunity for an extension. The position is located in **Mettawa, IL.**

Pay rate: $21.00/hour

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

**Job responsibilities:**

+ Manages the development and implementation of company's meeting planning technology involving departmental or cross-functional teams.

+ Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.

+ Prepares project plans and timelines and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project.

+ Assists in project execution by tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.

+ Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.

+ Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.

+ Assists in the liaison activities between the business areas and IT.

+ Applies business knowledge and experience to formulate a solution for a business problem.

+ Works with clients on activities of moderate complexity; consults with clients and senior personnel to develop solutions to business or technical problems.

+ Prepares, develops and conducts clients and systems training. Independently conceives and develops general approaches to the solution of systems problems which require application of basic technical principles.

**Education/Skill Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's degree plus 0-2 years of related work experience.

+ Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices and procedures.

+ Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

+ Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

+ Broad knowledge of technical alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the systems environment.
