Kelly Services is seeking a Vulnerability Analyst who will be responsible for reviewing vulnerability assessment tools for compliance and audit assertion, verifying scans perform as required, analyzing vulnerabilities, verifying asset linkage to vulnerabilities, performing engineering daily checklists, and verifying and distributing summarized results for relevant operational teams for one of our top clients in Nashville, TN





**Length:** 05/04/2020 to 05/03/2021 (Contract W2) -possible conversion to perm



**Pay Rate:** $40.00/hr. (W2)





**Responsibilities:**






+ Review vulnerability scans of organization information systems and report timely

+ Analyzes data from threat and vulnerability feeds and analyzes data for applicability to the organization

+ Ensures compliance with audit, applicable configuration standards, policy, and procedure requirements

+ Logs all exceptions, exclusions, and change tickets for operations of VM program

+ Verifies linkage of assets to vulnerability management tools and corrects issues

+ Reviews, distributes, and verifies vulnerability reports on assessment findings

+ Recommends security controls and/or corrective actions for mitigating technical and business risk

+ Support the vulnerability management group overall and perform duties as assigned in supporting projects, improvements, enhancements, and other relevant activities.

+ An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business

+ An understanding of organizational mission, values, and goals and consistent application of this knowledge

+ Technical expertise in system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, etc.)

+ Technical expertise in security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security





**Required Education and Experience:**




+ BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field required.

+ 1-3 years of past experience in information security, especially in a vulnerability analysis role on a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC) or a Security Operations Center (SOC)

+ 1+ years of experience in server administration, network engineering, developing, scripting, db query writing, or PC management.
