Kelly Services is currently seeking 3 Technician roles for one of our top clients in Hillsboro, OR.





*Open ended contract that includes full benefits.




There are multiple positions open; day and night shifts.


**Day Shift hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Monday-Friday. Pay is $20-$24/hr**



**Night Shift role; Hours are 2:00 PM-10:00 PM, Monday-Thursday and Fridays hours are 3:00 PM-12:00 AM. Pay is $25-$26/hr**








+ Responsible for SDP Cloud assessment of all incoming hardware has all needed cables and components to be racked and installed on the SDP Cloud network. Test accessibility by users

+ Basic experience with board assembly/upgrades and Bios and FW updates

+ Manage equipment inventory (Systems, Si, upgrade kits, components) including receipt of items shipped to the lab and entering in inventory systems AIM or ISMP

+ Managed logistics of shipping/receiving equipment to/from other teams and customers





**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**




Validation Technicians, responsible for ownership of data collection of one or more PnP domains:




+ Low Power Scenarios (Modern Standby Connected and Disconnected, OS Idle Screen On)

+ Imaging/Media (Video Conference, Video Recording, Video Streaming)

+ Connectivity (Wi-Gig, Wi-Di, Wireless Battery Charging, Modem Call, Modem Data Transfer)

+ Audio & Voice (Low Power Audio Playback Cortana, Wake On Voice)

+ Browsing (Page Load, Page Idle, Flash Content Websites, 2x2s: Ambient-Light, Battery Notifications, Edge Power Optimizations, Pause Flash Ads)





**Qualifications:**



**Level 2: Technician- Day Shift and Night Shift Open**




+ Guided wiring and racking systems

+ Updating scheduler and basic understanding of ticketing system

+ Basic assembly & guided troubleshooting systems and issues

+ Demonstrate competency in the following:

+ Prepare and maintain system components and sub-assemblies such as boards, processor, modules and imaging FW, OS image and updates to meet SDP Cloud standards

+ Build systems and configure hardware and platforms per customer specification

+ Read, understand, and follow network configuration, test units are accessible and update customer on how to access system(s)

+ Assist in volume system upgrades and readiness tasks including lab space alterations, equipment allocation/placement and basic rework

+ Verifying system post, flashing firmware/BIOS

+ Can execute on defined script/documented assembly and triage process





**Level 3: Technician- Day Shift Open**




+ Independent/off-script triage and troubleshooting of system hardware and system issues

+ Software and firmware solutions per customer and end users direction

+ Ability to recognize scheduler issues and pass on to architect

+ Mapping of networking, advanced networking of systems per request of end user/customer

+ Coordinates with PSEs (Product Support Engineers)

+ Demonstrate competency in the following:

+ Troubleshooting OS, software, and complex HW issues

+ Knows when to escalate and ask for help

+ Build and debug systems with basic components and a system configuration

+ Troubleshoot customer issues on what they need setup for their build process

+ Know basic Unix commands to get around and execute tasks in Linux

+ Basic knowledge of Windows, driver installs, OS config

+ Executes more complex tasks with direction
