Kelly Science has an exciting long-term contract opportunity in the Seattle area for a Laboratory Development Associate.

The Laboratory Development Associate will be responsible for the following:

+ Raw material testing to support clinical manufacturing in GMP setting

+ Perform routine cell culture experiments

+ Assist in the design of testing plans and handling troubleshooting

+ Data analysis, reporting

+ Scientific writing and executing process development plans ideal

+ JMP or R statistical analysis

+ Ability to work in Biosafety Level 2 conditions with handling human blood products

+ Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends


+ B.S in Chemical/Biological Engineering, Immunology, Biology or relevant scientific discipline with 0-2 yrs. of biotechnology or cell therapy experience

+ Experience with aseptic processing of mammalian or primary cell culture in biological safety cabinet

+ Excellent documentation and data management skills

+ Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Demonstrated proficiency in common computer tools such as word processing, spreadsheet and web-based applications.

+ Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment

+ Experience working in, or exposure to, GMP setting
