**Job Description**

We are looking for a Laboratory Project Manager who will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, control and integration of specific molecular projects for cutting-edge multi-omic assays for novel applications in Oncology ensuring project objectives are met, completed on time, on budget, in accordance with the signed protocols, and consistent with company strategy, commitments and goals.

**Specific Job Responsibilities**

Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables through the development and scheduling of full-scale project plans/timelines

Manage Meeting Minutes, Statements of Work (SOW), and project documentation

Track project deliverables using appropriate tools; create and maintain project and implementation documentation

Report on project progress, problems and solutions and maintain a project management plan and project risk tracking

Become a subject-matter expert on the services and technologies that are outlined in the assigned projects.

Manage internal deadlines and hold project members accountable. Interact with clients via email and phone to provide status updates, document study requests, and ensure supply of materials.

Partner closely with technical personnel and management to provide proper responses to technical, scientific, and/or medical questions.

Coordinate with department supervisors on staff duties to ensure projects are completed on time. Review, revise and manage data transfer protocols/specifications.

Ensure standard operating procedures and study protocols are followed and project requirements, safety, ISO, and quality standards are met.

Schedule, organize, and drive project team meeting(s): prepare and distribute agendas/minutes; track action items, and escalate areas of concern to the appropriate management entity.

Manage the interfaces between functional areas and ensure effective handoff and communication between department functions to execute on important project milestones.

Apply project management methods and tools in accordance with company processes and standards

This role requires meticulous recordkeeping, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and be flexible with assignments and schedules.


Bachelor degree/Master degree level in Bioengineering, Biomedical engineering, molecular, oncology or biology and/or a technical/scientific discipline is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of direct work experience in biotech/pharmaceutical/life sciences project management capacity with proven success

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly preferred

Highly adept in technology platforms utilized for project management and commercial functions

General understanding of molecular diagnostics and NGS processes

Ability to drive project plan and timelines (across multiple functional areas) is essential.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with customers and key stakeholders, good conflict management skills.

Proactive individual with strong leadership, facilitation, teamwork, and influence management/negotiation as well as excellent organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to proactively identify risks and drive resolution of issues.

Ability to work independently for decision-making and resolution of project obstacles and conflicts.

Familiarity with developing budgets and forecasting desirable.

Results and detail-oriented; self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to perform and be adaptive in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
