The laboratory quality associate is a highly analytical professional who possesses in-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment. Their duties include analyzing and classifying results, careful monitor documentation of data, and strict attention to detail


day shift- until the end of the year likely to extend!


+ Perform review of analytical testing and raw data generated in accordance with GMP and GLP guidelines.

+ Responsible for:

+ Review completed analytical testing to procedures and test methods and disposition lots accordingly.

+ Generate/support the implementation of Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA), Non-conformances (NC), and Laboratory Investigation Records (LIR). Suggest and implement continuous laboratory improvements.

+ Maintain laboratory state of inspection readiness, by leading regular lab quality system inspections.

+ Troubleshoot, EP, BP, and in-house methods using wet chemistry and advanced analytical techniques/equipment, such as HPLC, GC, FTIR spectroscopy, TOC analysis, etc. for release testing of in-process, finished product, and stability.

+ Review of analytical data for applicable test articles and follow-up on corrective actions.

+ Provide timely completion of duties to meet departmental and company goals.

+ Assume the responsibility for the GMP, ISO, and Environmental Health and Safety procedure awareness and compliance within the respective area.


Requirements


+ B. S. in Chemistry preferred, Minimum B.A. in Chemistry or related science.

+ 3-6 years in GMP pharmaceutical chemical analysis.

+ Expert in pharmaceutical analytical techniques and test methods.

+ Must be able to work and problem solve independently and as part of a team.

+ Experience in HPLC, GC, FT/IR, UV/VIS, and specialty equipment operation/technical troubleshooting.

+ LIMS, Documentum, Empower are positives.

+ Computer literate and is able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

+ All applicants must be legally able to work in the United States.
