Description **Laboratory Technician - (2nd shift 2 PM-1030 PM M-F) (3rd shift 10 PM-630 AM Thursday-Sunday**

**Compensation: 2nd shift 17.00 per hour for experience and 16.00 for no Biopharma Expereince. 3rd shift 17.50 for experience and 16.50 for no biopharma experience**

POSITION SUMMARY Accurately produce a variety of dental materials; accurately measure, weigh and follow specific timelines for production, using appropriate equipment as outlined in training. Fill out all required paperwork from start to finish of material production; enter appropriate information of products into computer system.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Read and understand instructions. 2. Manufacture products according to specific batch records. 3. Maintain proper segregation of individual products, inspect product and report any quality issues to supervisor. 4. Proficient in production. 5. Assist with training new employees. 6. Assist warehouse in storing raw materials. Cross train into shipping and warehouse duties. 7. Verify work performed by other production employees. 8 Proficient in working with all equipment. 9. Use Material Requirements Planning system to create batch records for production. 10. Create, run, and post completed jobs in the computer system. 11. Assure a quality output that consistently meets specifications and passes quality control inspection. 12. Record production counts in an accurate and timely manner. 13. Keep all equipment clean according to specifications and direction from Supervisor. 14. Assist in monthly cycle count.

**SKILLS/ABILITIES**

Ability to accurately operate and read scales, count, use a calculator. Ability to accurately perform basic math, follow detailed written instructions and coordinate multiple tasks.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**

High School Diploma or at least one year equivalent experience.
