Kelly Scientific Resources is looking for a Chemical Lab Technician for an Aerospace company in New Port Richey, FL. This is a direct hire opportunity. Monday-Friday on day shift.



This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed. This position is required to follow any other instructions to perform any other duties requested by the supervisor.

+ A clean and organized work area shall be maintained at all times.
+ Overtime shall be expected when necessary to maintain acceptable performance levels.

+ Attendance and punctuality is an essential part of this position
+ You may be assigned other job related duties as necessary
+ You will perform your job in a safe and responsible manner
+ Final product performance and characteristic testing.
+ Incoming material testing.
+ Chemical and physical testing of test stand fluids in housing, deltadyne and qual lab.
+ Heat treat process validation testing.

+ Performs testing on finished products to verify performance and characteristic values
+ Performs carbon and corrosion resistance testing for incoming and heat treated mesh
+ Monitors and controls fluid cleanliness levels, viscosity, density, moisture content, chlorine content and total acidity as required for hydraulic, lube and fuel test stands in housing, deltadyne and qual lab.
+ Performs testing operations related to engineering orders, etc. for Research & Design (R&D), product development and cost savings efforts
+ Performs qualification testing operations i.e. efficiency, media migration and maximum particle passed for hydraulic, lube, fuel and air applications
+ Perform Karl Fischer moisture content analysis


+ High school diploma with additional classes in chemistry, physics and mathematics.
+ Two year technical degree desired.
+ Hydraulic experience preferred.
+ 5 years of laboratory experience preferred.
+ Must have the following proficiencies as it relates to MS Office: MS Word—Excellent, MS Excel-Excellent, and MS PowerPoint—Intermediate.
Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident to support work on U.S. government contracts.
