Labware Technician (Materials Washing), South San Francisco, CA


Pay Rate: $17-19/hour


2 shifts available (12 hour shifts- 3-4 days a week)


Day: 7 AM -7:30 PM


Graveyard: 7 PM -7:30 AM


6-7 month contract


Roles and Responsibilities:


Maintain and inventory clean glassware and plastics for the manufacturing floor.


Daily pickup of utilized glassware and plastics from labs for washing, sterilization and storage


Stocking and organizing cleaned materials for the manufacturing floor


Maintain inventory of cleaned glass/plastic ware in locations throughout the facility


Maintain required supplies for washing and sterilization operations


Follow all SOP guidelines as required Operation of glassware washers, autoclaves, and other cleaning systems


Perform inspection of glass/plastic ware for cracks, breaks, and scratches contacting the Supervisor/Leads with updates and issues


Interact daily with scientific staff


Maintain good house keeping and clean work areas


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:


Must possess a High School Diploma


Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively


Must be able to use computers Outlook, Excel, Word and use of barcode scanners for data entry


Must be Detail oriented, promotes team environment.
