Kelly Services is looking for Layout Fitters for an innovative steel company located in the Sinking Spring, PA area!

Shift hours/Payrate:

1st shift 4 days 10 hour shifts Monday thru Thursday 6 am to 4: 30 pm

$17-$18/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

-Aligns or fits parts to form complete units or subunits

-Following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools

-Layout reference points and patterns and construct patterns and templates

-Lift or move materials and finished products, using large cranes

Work Environment

-Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration

-Occasional exposure to a variety of extreme temperature conditions due to weather (hot and cold)

-Exposure to load noise level in the shop

Physical Demands

-Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry heavy objects

-Regularly walk and stand for long periods of time

-Strong manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination

***You will also need your own tools for this position - the client will only provide clear shield for welding hood, gloves and other small necessary things to do their job

**Requirements**

Experience:

-High School Diploma or equivalent vocational school

-Minimum of two five years related experience as a fitter in a fabrication, manufacturing or structural environment is a plus

-Ability to maintain dimensions and tolerances to specifications

-Ability to read shop drawings
