Description **_LEAN MANAGER – W. Conshohocken, PA_**

We currently have a great and rewarding opportunity for a Lean Manager to support one of our great clients at their W. Conshohocken, PA location. The Lean Manager primary responsibility will be to plan and implement continuous improvement activities at the site improving safety, quality, delivery and cost.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Continuous improvement/Lean initiatives

+ Works with the senior leaders, Lean champion and GBU operations head on selecting and scoping projects that align with business goals and strategies

+ Work with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvement plans

+ Lead improvement projects using lean six sigma methodology to deliver measureable and timely results

+ Track and report on financial and non-financial benefits from improvement projects

+ Evaluate current and new capital equipment required for product and process development, production, and continuous improvement

+ Promote the culture of continuous improvement in the organization. Identify and promote best practices in the site. Coach others on how to use Lean tools and techniques such as 5S and PDCA.

+ Business growth support

+ Actively participates in the development and execution of continuous improvement strategy

+ Implement (Company Production System) methods suitable for HPT Development / Scale up activities conducted at HPMC

+ Develop strong working relationships with the key stakeholders in the business

+ Aid vendors with their processes that directly affect the company's ability to deliver to its customers

+ Communicate with management and internal departments to resolve escalated issues

+ Operation Excellence

+ Determine and eliminates root causes and diminish defect occurrences or quality incidents in the process

+ Conduct advanced data analysis using Minitab or similar applications to establish root causes and provide meaningful insights

+ Implement useful SPC tools for a Scale up environment

+ Transfer best practices, techniques, procedures and tools to peers and other process improvement teams

+ Plans the use of equipment and personnel to meet requirements, including department guidelines, layout and improvement

+ Recommend procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines

+ Leading and people development

+ Handle confidential information with care.

+ Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.

+ Supervisory responsibilities include the selection, training and development, assigning work, and performance management of employees.

+ Adherence to Code of Conduct as applicable to job function: CoC Guideline No. 1: Guideline for the Procurement of Products and Services, No. 2: Guideline for the Prevention of Bribery in Commercial Transactions, No. 3: Guideline for the Acceptance of Precious Metals and No. 4: Guideline for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Participation in Criminal Acts.

+ Responsibility to ensure that direct reports and overall employee population are also aware and adhere to Code of Conduct Guidelines.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**


+ Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 10 plus years of operations related experience is required.
+ Previous leadership experience within production or related function supporting a manufacturing facility is required.
+ The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
+ Must demonstrate an attention to detail and have the ability to schedule and prioritize effectively as well as process orientation and organizational skills.
+ Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and leadership ability; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative.
+ Must be skilled in Influence Management and have the ability to work across cultures.
+ Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP is required.
+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodology and ISO standards is preferred.
+ Language skills in Mandarin or German is a plus.
