Description **Job Description**

The Lean Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that the production runs efficiently and according to planning orders. He/She will manage all 5S, Lean Manufacturing activities, IPRL, Production Documentations, SAP activities, and all other lean activities related to Production Floor and Planning.

- Improve Production Capacity

- Value Stream Mapping

- Shop Floor Management

- Ensure Production flow is according to plan; aligning with Process Engineering and Production Planning

- Arrange required work preparation between Production areas

- Follow up Production status and completion in all areas

- Define and manage Production KPI-s

- Ensuring all Production documentations are completed and signed

- Ensure the operators are clocking-in and clocking-out in SAP(registering with their personal badge before starting and after finishing the production shifts)

- Work with Process Engineering in Process Improvement initiatives

- Check the production forms filled after production, and deliver the same to the Data Input Responsible, in order to be registered in SAP and be reported

- Investigate the compliance of production operations to legislations, procedures and rules

- Manage all 5S and Lean activities; including Lean Metrics, housekeeping, boards, signs, Kanban, etc.

- Manage IPRL related to Production

- Participate in Kaizen events as needed

Special Conditions / Requirements:

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs, move about the work site, turn on and operate a computer in the applicable environment, communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone or in person, and complete required paperwork. Exposed to noise and dust in manufacturing plant and warehouse environment. Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking. Subject to long, irregular hours.

**Requirements**

Technical Diploma or equivalent experience

Six Sigma Black or Green Belt

Minimum 2 years of experience in process or production engineering

Fluency in English is a must. Spanish is a plus

- Quality Documentation Control

- Continuous Improvement

- Detail oriented, result oriented, hands-on person; able to communicate efficiently with shop floor operators; able to anticipate, detect and solve problems as well as to suggest new solutions aligned with Process Engineering

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Microsoft Visio is a plus

- SAP or any ERP system

- SoildWorks, ProE, AutoCAD, or any design software
