+ This contract position is located onsite in **Midland, MI at** **Corteva** .

+ Great way to build a LMS corporate experience for 1 year minimum!

+ Monday-Friday 8:00 PM-5:00 PM!!

**_JOB OVERVIEW:_**



The **_Learning Content Development Specialist_** responsibilities are outlined below:



**_Primary responsibilities in the development of learning solutions_** :




+ Writes/clarifies learning objectives with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

+ Collects technical content from SMEs and creates learning solutions using research-based adult learning methods (e.g. e-learning storyboards, instructor led class materials, job aides, web pages, etc.).

+ Creates in-class & e-learning activities which align to learning objectives and effectively engage learners (in Lectora or relevant software).

+ Creates course evaluations that directly align to learning objectives.

+ Organizes and prioritizes review feedback with SMEs.

+ Serve as learning focal point for SMEs and content assembly teams to ensure objectives and specific timing requirements are met.

+ Completes and submits relevant project initiation forms for use external vendors and translation requests.

+ Collects data for learning metrics and reports.

+ Develop testing for technical certification and support development of test banks, if necessary.



**_Collaborates with learning team to:_**




+ Develop Standards and Guidelines on learning best practices.

+ Collaborates with Regional and Global Implementation Specialists to enable effective deployment of new programs.

+ Share learning best practices with team to increase team expertise.

+ Design websites and SharePoint to communicate services to other sub-functions.

+ Design team marketing content.



**_Provides Content Development Project Management Services by_** :




+ Updating of project plans.

+ Provides regular progress updates to Instructional Systems Designers and stakeholders.

+ Resolves and /or escalates issues in a timely fashion (e.g. troubleshooting e-modules, issues with collecting information from SMEs, barriers to meeting/exceeding deadlines, etc.)





**Candidate Qualifications and Skills for Success:**




+ Bachelors Degree (Education, Instructional Systems Design, Graphics Design or other related field or experiences)

+ Experience with Instructional Design (ISD) best practices, especially writing learning objectives & e-learning interactions.

+ Knowledge of e-learning software capabilities (Lectora) as well as supplemental media capabilities (video, simulations, etc.) to create dynamic engaging learning solutions

+ Experience _(Preferred but not required)_ with course development teams (Content Assembly Team, External vendors)

+ Ability to manage projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment at a high level of competence.

+ Ability to build and maintain credibility with internal and external contacts.

+ Exceptional oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills.

+ Strong consulting, analytical, negotiating, decision making and problem-solving skills.

+ Experience proactively developing effective working relationships and using influence to gain commitment and deliver on desired/agreed outcomes with a range of stakeholders.

+ Ability to describe key activities as simple processes/flow diagrams.

+ Practical experience with using training tools, processes, and standards.

+ Strong attention to detail and proofreading.

+ Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines.

+ Work both independently and within a team.

+ Experience with branding and graphic design or development vendors (Photo Archive, Stock Photography, Studio 20/20, etc).

+ Experience with file maintenance, file share structure, and best practices.
