**About the role:**



The Learning & Development Specialist will provide instructional design, develop learning solutions, program and project management in the conception, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of learning solutions supporting our Pathology Sales team. This individual will lead and manage the end-to-end life cycle of a learning process to timely deliver the right training, to the right people customized and seamlessly.



**Responsibilities will include:**




+ Design a comprehensive training program for Pathology Field Sales utilizing innovative modalities to deploy learning (e.g., eLearning, virtual classroom and experiential)

+ Incorporate a fresh perspective to filter the most relevant information from the view of a professional sales team

+ Identify and articulate critical messages to a variety of audiences

+ Maintain a global perspective to allow for seamless additions to a program that will have ongoing updates and revisions

+ Create a consistent theme throughout all stages of the training process to build brand identity for the learner

+ Conduct needs assessments and audience analysis to determine performance gaps and identify opportunities, priorities, and appropriate training interventions

+ Engage subject matter experts in guided discussions to uncover and clarify the unspoken needs related to learning deliverables

+ Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders (marketing, customer success team, operations, sales, training, etc.)

+ Communicate with senior leaders with poise and professionalism

+ Edit instructional and supporting materials for grammar, clarity, consistency, and accuracy with unwavering attention to detail

+ Manage the logistics and planning related to on-site training for newly hired sales representatives and enrichment training

+ Facilitate or support required L&D processes and efforts, as needed, to meet Quality System and compliance requirements.

+ Document training and administer training records. Support the development and use of reports in support of audits, Management Review, and manager accountability.



**Qualifications:**




+ BA/BS in Instructional Design, Business, Education or a related field

+ Demonstrated experience in developing creative, innovative, and engaging eLearning materials

+ Experience in defining and reviewing metrics to determine effectiveness of training, satisfaction measurements, and return on investment (ROI)

+ Proficiency with Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate

+ Strong technical writing skills with a focus on the end user learning experience

+ Experience managing content in an LMS

+ Ability to work independently, collaborate with key stakeholders in the business and produce a steady stream of high-quality content at a reasonable pace

+ Willingness to adapt quickly when unforeseen needs arrive and focus on deliverable completion

+ Commitment to treating all others with respect, demonstrate inclusive behavior and understand the motivators of key stakeholders



**Preferred Qualifications:**




+ MA/MS in Instructional Design, Business, Education or a related field

+ 4+ years of experience in eLearning solutions, curriculum design, and/or on-demand courses, preferably in biotech or healthcare industry

+ Familiarity with the sales training process in the healthcare industry

+ Captivate/Rise learning platforms strongly preferred
