As the Laboratory Information Computer Systems Manager, you are responsible for the efficient day-to-day management, configuration, and support of the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) administration, laboratory and Instrument communications management. You will be responsible for the design implementation and optimization of existing and new laboratory IT Solutions.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Troubleshooting and configuration of IT related computer systems to support the lab personnel.

+ Apply software specific knowledge to ensure proper design, implementation and documentation.

+ You will work closely and collaborate with the Operational laboratory, process improvements, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Data Management teams in the design of systems and contribute in setting up the information system architecture.

+ Manage the training of laboratory applications to ensure the correct implementation and use of the applications within the business.

+ Review and determine lab and hardware requirements in conjunction with laboratory management.

+ Maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure that all laboratory related computer systems can be supported, maintained and recovered.

+ You have current knowledge on clinical trial computer systems; implementation, administration and maintenance of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Clinical Trial Management (CTM), Analyzer to verify and ensure correct data processing, transfer, and storage.

+ Create productive relationships by working closely with stakeholders, vendors, SMEs and colleagues to ensure effective and efficient laboratory systems.

+ Work with wider Technology team to ensure network infrastructure, computerized systems and relevant hardware, software, firmware are properly integrated validated and qualified.

+ Work with the LIS, instrument interfaces and Vendors.

+ Ensure Laboratory computer system issues are resolved promptly, perform daily maintenance on systems, review error logs.

+ Participate in projects requiring LIS systems knowledge, including process improvements, software upgrades and patching.

+ Validate the impact to upstream and downstream changes. oversee LIMS change management, including design, testing and validation.

+ Maintain User Roles and systems access to LIS applications.

+ Maintain professional scientific competence in laboratory information systems and troubleshooting.

+ Identify improvements to computer systems and work with Laboratory leadership and operational excellence to automate and improve processes.

+ Experienced with Instruments and interfaces, including HL7 message protocols.


**Requirements:**


As a customer service focused individual, you enjoy working in team, and take the initiative to automate processes and are inspired to continuously improve computer systems whilst ensuring they remain regulatory compliant.


+ You must have knowledge and hands-on experience working with StarLIMS or any other LIMS and laboratory equipment, Laboratory Information Management (LIMS), Clinical Trial Management (CTM) & Analysers.

+ At least 3-5years work experience in Healthcare/Laboratory environments. Degree in Computing Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.

+ You have experience in working in an international organization, supporting complex laboratory applications, systems administration, validation and change management of applications.

+ You have a good understanding of and lab automation with a background in agile, DevOps, programming & Cognitive Services (AI, ML).
