**Literature Surveillance Scientist - Remote**

Kelly is currently hiring a Literature Surveillance Scientist to support one of our largest Global Pharma clients and their vaccine studies to make a difference and help with COVID-19 on the ground floor. This role is a full-time, offering our enhanced benefit package options. This role will allow you to be a part of the solution to save lives! The Literature Surveillance Scientist will review published and pre-publication literature concerning Company and non-Company COVID-19 vaccine products for the purpose of both aggregate signal detection and for the identification of relevant articles to be included in scheduled and ad hoc reports.

The Literature Surveillance Scientist will work closely with the Vaccine Medical Safety Officer, Safety Analysis Scientist, and other product team members to understand the relevant clinical question(s) to be addressed, review scheduled and ad hoc search outputs, and provide clear, concise, and clinically sound verbal and written analyses of the authors' findings and conclusions.


1. Minimum education required for competent performance:

2. Bachelor of Science degree as minimum education

3. Prefer Physician, RN or Pharmacist education

4. Minimum experience required for competent performance:

5. Clinical training (Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist) with at least 2 years of work experience in a clinical setting.

6. **Must have clinical literature review/publication experience to understand published and pre-publicized literature for COVID-19 products to recognize AEs or SAEs reported and bring to attention of the team**

7. Equipment usage and abilities needed:

8. Sound clinical judgment and ability to make yes/no decisions on the significance of literature in relation to Company products use and patients safety and regulatory reporting requirements

9. Strong English-language writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to concisely summarize medical information for appropriate audience(s) in a short time frame

10. Ability to rapidly assimilate and apply new clinical and product information
