**Overall Accountability:**


+ Board all new and renewed SBA and Commercial loans to the Jack Henry 20/20 (JHA) core system based on approved loan write-ups, accurate borrower information, and complete loan documentation packages. Boarding process may include utilization of complete and accurate boarding checklists, tax service, welcome letters, draw consent forms, construction documents, CIP/BSA risk rating forms, etc.

+ Process all types of transactions including loan payments, payoffs, principal and/or interest adjustments, interest reserve payments, loan advances, and construction draws timely. Provide copies of transaction support along with Loan Transaction Edits and Reversal Edits to designated person for same day review and approval.

+ Perform and call back daily loan maintenance (e.g. loan grade, rate, address, AFT, ACH, loan officer changes, etc.) ensuring changes are authorized prior to input and correctly applied to the system.

+ Perform Tickler Report maintenance changes for collateral, financial, tax returns, insurance, UCC searches, contracts, etc. ensuring additions, modifications, and deletions are properly recorded.

+ Track receipt of recorded deed of trust documents and final title policies; update Tickler Report accordingly. Follow-up on past due documents.

+ Monitor delinquent taxes by reviewing Tax Service reports. Prepare letters to customers, update contact log, maintain appropriate support, and report findings to Senior Loan Committee. Certify process semi-annually.

+ Process written demand of payoff requests and loan verifications in a timely manner.

+ Respond to client calls and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

+ Respond to internal clients and peers in a timely and professional manner.

+ Provide timely and accurate communication to appropriate members of Management concerning documentation and boarding errors, client service issues, Compliance or SBA reporting irregularities, or any other matters that pose a risk to the credit union.

+ Support loan regulatory compliance functions: CIP/BSA, Patriot Act, etc.

+ Develop and maintain a control environment that mitigates risk and protects credit union assets.

+ Assist in preparing for audits and regulatory examinations.

+ Train new and existing loan personnel.

+ May be called upon from time to time to perform any job-related tasks as needed by the credit union.

+ Process monthly Interest Reserve payments, update the Interest Reserve Log.

+ Review participation payments and wire funds to participant financial institution.

+ Maintain, prepare, and track UCC Continuation financing statements. Ensure the Tickler Report is updated to reflect appropriate dates for review. Monitor the Tickler Report and ensure UCC filings are properly tracked and reported to Senior Loan Committee.

+ Work with Branch Operations to ensure FBO and collateral holds are in place and modified appropriately when construction draws, or payoffs occur.

+ Process loan payoffs and complete tasks on related checklists including but not limited to collateral release, member communication and servicing transfer.

+ Daily manage Colson 1502 spreadsheet for transactions made on SBA loans. Monthly balance Colson 1502 and prepare paperwork to submit FTA to Colson. Process 1502 lender exceptions as they are received.

+ Review various loan reports and related documentation on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to ensure accuracy of information recorded in the Jack Henry 20/20 (JHA) core lending system. Responsible for accurate report retention.

+ Track and monitor construction loans and convert to permanent financing (P&I versus Interest Only) as appropriate.

+ Same day review and next day call back of Loan Transaction Edits and Reversal Edits, including loan payments, principal and/or interest adjustments, interest reserve payments, loan advances, and construction draws.

+ Daily balancing and resolution of Note Departments general ledger accounts, including review of GL Application Balancing Report, Loan WIP, Loan Suspense, Fees in Process, Principal and Accrued Interest, Deferred Fees and Costs, and related adjustments to interest income accounts.

+ Oversee loan certification process ensuring appropriate controls are in place and effectively operating. Validate key controls by performing monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual certifications. Team with Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory changes are implemented on a timely basis.

+ Prepare and update department procedures as changes occur.

+ Weekly update rate indices in the core system.

+ Track, print, and mail loan statements/billings/notices.

+ Responsible for final Synergy review and maintenance.


**Required Qualifications**


High school diploma of GED and 3-5 years of experience in loan support systems. Knowledge of loan operation standards, both commercial and SBA along with basic knowledge of lending, compliance and credit regulations. Professional written, verbal communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to produce quality work within tight time frames while managing multiple assignments. Ability to work on specific issues related to the credit unions core operating system (JHA). Strong work ethic, the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing deadlines, advanced interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the desire to work as a team to support the overall success of the credit union.


Payrate: $21-27 an hour
