Responsible for providing SAP transactional and logistics associated with customer service including shipments and supporting documentation. Understand and provide knowledge for problem solving and optimization of SAP and logistic processes at Mount Vernon Site by coordination with relevant functions, to reduce complexity and cost. Analyze and recommend improvements to day-to-day operational tasks related to area of responsibility and identify and implement best practices




+ Provide analysis, coordination and process improvements for logistics of the **Mt. Vernon marine,** bulk truck and rail car fleets.

+ Responsible analysis and coordination of daily operational needs with rail crew personnel, coordination of rail outages, supporting compliance with all Federal Railroad Administration regulations, and serves as an interface with EVWR

+ Coordination and analysis of M&L processes, including but not limited to customer shipments, purchase requisitions, relabeling, repacking, site trailer leases and SAP/ALS inventory differences. Suggest and implement improvements that simplify process complexity and free working capital.

+ Monitor and assist in analysis of MTV bulk powder process to identify opportunities to reduce complexity. Use benchmarking and statistical tools to optimize inventory levels and minimize complexity to reduce costs. Provide coordination of lining containers and shipments to other facilities.

+ Provide analysis and assist in coordination of service, quality and TCO projects/programs with 3PL responsible for operational excellence in transportation. Understand trailer leasing for dedicated and extended fleets to optimize lease vs demurrage costs, assist implementation of cost effective techniques and processes to reduce trailer requirements. Reduce back room efforts, complexity and costs.

+ Support coordination and maintenance efforts with the Safety Health and Environmental compliance (DOT/SHEMS).

+ Provide transactional and logistical support for customer shipments in Phenol. This would include but not limited to, SAP transactions, coordination of scheduling and supporting documentation with customers, and addressing issues in shipment process. Reduce complexity by identifying and implementing process changes.



**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**




+ BA/BS degree in Materials Management, Business Administration, Engineering or other related field

+ Minimum 2 yrs Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations experience

+ Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools to solve business problems

+ Ability to work with, communicate and influence others

+ Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills in verbal and written communications

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities

+ Prior SAP experience

+ Proven expertise in Microsoft Office programs

+ Ability to summarize the complicated

+ Six Sigma experience desired

+ Data oriented with experience analyzing data sets using Excel and other data querying tools desired
