Kelly Services is hiring Temp to Hire Machine Operators



Pay rate $14.00



A Night: Sunday- Tuesday 6pm-6am and Wednesday 6pm- 12am

B Night: Wednesday 12am-6pm, Thursday- Saturday 6pm-6am




Sets up, operates, and tends machines used to classify, select, and pack ceramic tile.



Duties and Responsibilities



Operating machinery to unload, select, and pack ceramic tile



Observing operation of equipment to ensure continuity of flow, safety, and efficient operation as well as to correct malfunctions



Moving controls to start and stop as well as adjusting machinery and equipment that transports, classifies, stacks, and packs the ceramic tile



Recording data from operations down time, quality (1st class and scrap), and production on specified forms



Examining tiles in order to ensure conformance to established standards (tone, shade, size)



Rejecting defective tile and readjusting equipment to eliminate problems



Other duties may be assigned.




Competencies



Ability to control operations of equipment or systems. Ability to determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do about it. Ability to determine the kinds of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
