**Job Description**
As a machine operator placed with Kelly Services, you will operate production machinery, monitor machine operations, and determine if the materials/products meet standards. CR Bard is fast-paced, team-oriented environment is the perfect place to take your manufacturing career to the next level.


**POSITION DESCRIPTION**

Position Title: Machine Operator I

Location: Moncks Corner, SC

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**


+ Pay: $10.00-$12.00/hour
+ Hours: 2nd and 3rd Shifts ONLY
+ Possible temp-to-perm
+ Mandatory Overtime
+ Weekly pay
+ Benefits available
**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Consistently meeting production requirements
+ Recognizing unsafe or defective products and correct problems
+ Maintaining a clean and safe work area
+ Legibly filling out documentation such as process monitors, production tickets, and downtime reports
+ Reading production schedules, work orders, and component drawings to assure product quality
+ Performing other duties as assigned
**EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


+ High School diploma or GED
+ Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
+ Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
+ Must be able to use a calculator.
+ Accurately able to measure weight, volume and temperature.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS:**


+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands or fingers (to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls) and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; stand; and reach with hands and arms.
+ The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near latex, hot melt machine, glue, solder, hot solder pot flux, activator, resin, nitrogen, silicone and lubricious polymer.
+ The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is not subjected to noise above OSHA levels without providing hearing protection, which will attenuate the noise to less than 85 db.
+ The Personal Protective Equipment required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses and appropriate shoes.
