**Maintenance System Technician**



**Long term contract with full benefits**



**Pay $31-35 per hour**



Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Maintenance System Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Irving, TX. **This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position. As a Maintenance System Technician, you will support a Medical Device manufacturing facility. The shift for this position is 12-hours, on FRI, SAT, SUN or SAT, SUN, MON. The other four hours of the work week is completely flexible and can be worked during your primary three days or on any other day of the week.



Duties



Maintains manufacturing equipment which may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.



Performs installation, setups and changeovers of machinery. Tests and make adjustments as needed.



Repairs malfunctioning equipment. Identifies and implements process improvements.



Updates required documentation including maintenance and repair logs.



Assists with trouble report preparation for malfunctioning equipment.



Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.



Orders parts and supplies in accordance with department procedures.



Utilizes machine shop tools/equipment to create or fix parts needed during repair.



Modifies procedures to improve equipment operation or processes.



Records assignments and prepare documentation concerning materials, parts used, concepts, designs, drawings and processes.



Updates supervisor of work status or problems with recommendations for improvement or correction. Implements approved corrective action.



Applies safety procedures to all work. Responds to safety issues by recommending and implementing a resolution.



Partner with outside contractors providing service to manufacturing equipment.



Gives support to process engineers in the development of projects.



Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.



Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.



Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity (DI), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs



Qualifications and Requirements



Requires 4-6 years related experience.



Associate Degree, Certificate, or Equivalent.



Competent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.



PLC/electrical troubleshooting experience required. Allen-Bradley experience preferred.



Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks required.



Experience in a manufacturing facility is required.



Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures.



CMMS/Maximo software experience highly preferred.



Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele base.



This position is deemed essential and is required to work full-time, at our clients site
