**Machine Maintenance Mechanical Technician**

**$20 - 30 per hour DOE**

Our company is looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician with experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry. Under the direct supervision of Engineering representative, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of production and quality by guaranteeing the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery.

The maintenance technician will be responsible for completing preventive maintenance prerequisites on mechanical equipment like conveyors, automated packaging equipment, and other machines used on the production floor, thereby ensuring smooth operation of such machinery and mechanical gadgets. The technician must follow manufacturers instructions, engineering specifications, sketches, operation manuals, and diagrams, to diagnose and troubleshoot abnormalities.

It is the role of the machine maintenance technician will be responsible in identifying any sources of complications by observing mechanical devices while in operation and tune in for issues by utilizing accuracy and inspection instruments.


+ Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of hose, airguns, solvents, cloths, vacuum or other appliances.

+ Disassemble machines and take off parts for replacement or repair by using hand tools and jacks.

+ Examine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirements.

+ Replace, fix or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications.

+ Application of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipments in accordance with stated procedures.

+ Put machine parts together after accomplishing maintenance and repair work.

+ Maintain workspace cleanliness and storage as directed by manager.

+ Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.

+ Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.

+ Assist in managing equipment preventive maintenance in asset management system.

+ Additional duties as assigned.

+ Manage all required facility paperwork for contractors and subcontractors to include permits to work, hot permit, verification of proper license etc.

+ Oversee the Spare parts for each piece of equipment


+ Equipment drawing interpretation skill.

+ Knowledge of machine maintenance systems.

+ Knowledge of safety, ergonomic and environmental standards.

+ Must possess the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot and or use proven troubleshooting methods.

+ Excellent general understanding of hydraulic systems with display of mastery in troubleshooting by utilizing deductive reasoning and schematics.

+ Ability to analyze statistical data, recognize and define problems, collect data, and develop conclusions.

+ Ability to operate computerized equipment and have the ability to learn and apply computer software - Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Maximo Asset Management System.

+ Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures and policies.

+ Verbal and written communication skills.

+ Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

+ Demonstrate good safety mindset

+ Ability to work in warehouse environment.

+ Ability to work alone and independently.

+ Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations

+ Must exhibit outstanding ability to learn and comprehend the fundamentals of the functioning of machines

+ Must be able to self-manage themselves with minimum supervision to reach targets and deadlines.

+ Must be flexible and able to work off shift hours and/or additional hours as needed.

+ Must have consistently demonstrated excellent performance and attendance.

+ **EXPERIENCE:** Must possess 0 - 3 years or more related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have demonstrated technical skill and aptitude.

+ High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
