Description **MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN**

Kelly Services is in need of Maintenance Technicians for some Direct Hire job opportunities with a large Manufacturing client in Columbus, Indiana. These are permanent direct roles with our client, not contract opportunities, and candidates applying must meet the requirements listed in this job description. Please note this Client does not offer Visa sponsorship opportunities.

**Tasks and Duties for the Maintenance Technician include:**


+ Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving system components, including:
+ Working knowledge of basic/complex electrical controls programming and circuit analysis, including safety circuits
+ Working knowledge of basic/complex industrial automation systems and equipment, including CNC Machining Centers (Mazak and Okuma controls preferred)
+ Network systems communication
+ Using PLCs to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions; knowledge and experience with Omron PLC’s CJ/NJ series platforms and NS/NA series HMI preferred
+ PLC programming knowledge of basic/complex instructions
+ Repairing and maintaining robotic robot cells with PLC integration. Motoman robotics experience preferred
+ Repairing and maintaining MIG welding equipment. Use of knowledge and understanding of basic welding fundamentals, including:
+ Shielding gas types and ratios
+ Circuit continuity confirmation
+ Calibration of voltage, wire feed rate, and gas flow
+ Understanding of weld fume health impact
+ Work unscheduled overtime to complete assigned jobs to ensure meeting of production goals
+ This manufacturing facility includes processes for sheet metal cutting and fabrication, steel bar cutting, CNC machining, press brake/hydraulic press forming, manual and robotic MIG welding, resistance welding, powder coating, painting, assembly, and inspection. Additional processes, specific to our product, include hydraulic cylinder and hose manufacturing.
**Requirements:**

+ Strong technical experience with troubleshooting capabilities and willingness to work hands-on

+ Experience with Predictive Maintenance (Infrared, vibration, etc.) is a plus
+ 5-7 years industrial maintenance experience or two-year technical degree required
**Shifts (times are approximate and may vary slightly):**

1st shift hours: 6:30am-3:00pm

2nd shift hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm

3rd shift hours: 10:00pm-6:30am

**Pay Rate:**

$25.00-32.00 per hour
