Description and Requirements

The Manager, Compensation and Benefits is a highly visible role that contributes to the design, delivery & administration of employee salary structures and benefit programs. This role is responsible to deliver elements of technical design, provides financial, market and legal analysis and insights, and internal reporting for all compensation & benefits programs. In addition, this role will assist with international programs as necessary and M&A activity and integration of policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage all US compensation & benefits programs including but not limited to Leave, ADA, health, retirement, workers compensation, salary structure maintenance, job evaluation, merit/bonus programs, tuition/professional development, and service awards
  • Manage external plan vendors/partners such as administrators, brokers, parties relating to compensation & benefits plans
  • Lead annual renewal of Compensation administration process, including but not limited to providing comprehensive financial analysis, comparisons, benchmarking, and recommendations
  •  Lead annual US benefits open enrollment including portal maintenance, development and deployment of timely communications, benefits website maintenance, and clean-up
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including, but not limited to ERISA, FLSA, ACA, FMLA, PFL, and many more acronyms
  • Assist with merger & acquisition activity including analysis, communication, implementation, and integration
  • Lead buildout activities and maintenance related to benefit & compensation modules in HR technology systems.
  • Develop, communicate and implement policies necessary to support total rewards
  • Serve on the global job evaluation committee
  • Participate in benefits and compensation surveys
  • Subject matter expert for benefits calculations, employee inquiries, and other administrative processes
  • Provide training to WCG HCM Business Partners on benefits/compensation related topics
  • Oversee employee benefits enrollments for new hires and work events
  • Stay abreast of trends and best practices within benefits & compensation discipline.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will require the individual to be responsible for the supervision, direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of an assigned team and staff. Responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

       Bachelors Degree is required. Masters degree is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Eight or more years of progressive benefits and compensation management
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated work experience from a benefits/compensation consulting firm preferred
  • Experience with HR Technology systems required; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

       HR, Compensation or Benefits certification is highly preferred
