**_Nissan in Franklin, Tennessee seeks the following:_**

**Title:** **Manager Vehicle Connected Services Strategy and Operations**

**Job Functions:**

+ Understands procedures for developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
+ Technical expertise at regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
+ Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc), programming XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks.
+ Participates in client-sponsored business process reengineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Develops cost analyses and program budgets to support initiatives. Assists in justifying projects by participating in the investment decision process to ensure that the IS investments are aligned to Nissan priorities.
+ Provides high-level oversight for projects to ensure they are staying on track with the original intent of the defined initiatives.
+ Works with vendor management (on-shore or off-shore) to direct the delivery of services. Coordinates the initiation, assessment, approval and status of all requests for service submitted to vendor. Assists in problem escalation with the vendor.
+ Manages the administration and management of services, and ensures consistency across affiliates. Instructs vendor management on the monitoring and measurement of service delivery to ensure compliance with the contract.
+ Ensures appropriate staff utilization through project assignments, training and appropriate load balancing of levels and competencies.
**Minimum Requirements:**

+ 10 Years overall IS/IT experience with at least: 5+ years as an intermediate level manager, providing leadership, coaching, guidance, and training and contributing to staff development. Supervised subordinates or contractors whose roles were quite diverse in objectives and content, though confined within a single discipline (e.g., Marketing, Accounting, Development, Operations, etc.).
+ **Experience with automotive vehicle connected services or IoT is required.**
+ Ability to translate business issues into technical solutions and, in reverse, translate technical issues into business solutions.
+ Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
+ Strong analytical and product management skills required.
+ Ability to analyze application failures and conduct root cause analysis in order to provide permanent resolution to incidents.
+ Web development, Java/J2EE, Content Management Systems, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix, Mobile Application or Mobile Web Development.
+ Waterfall and Agile software development Methodologies/frameworks.
+ Relevant work experience in a data management role:
+ In-depth understanding of database structure principles
+ Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
+ Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, D3.js and R)
+ Experience with Service Oriented Architecture is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Decision Information Systems, MIS, or equivalent.
