**Manufacturing Associate, Aseptic Filling – San Diego, CA**

**General Requirements**


+ Practice good hygiene and personal sanitation practices
+ Compliance with cGMP and applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs)
+ Compliance with company environmental health and safety procedures
**Job & Educational Requirements**


+ Bachelor’s degree preferably in a Life Sciences discipline or equivalent preferred
+ 0-2 years of experience in Manufacturing (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and GMP experience desired)
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment while following GMP guidelines
+ Ability to follow detailed direction and instruction while working in a manufacturing GMP environment
+ Familiarity with cGMP and Manufacturing desired
**Skills/Work Experience Requirements**


+ Experience in the washing, filling, conveying, sealing, inspection and packaging of products/containers are highly desirable. Target industries include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biomedical, electronic, chemical, food, cosmetics, and/or other medical industries.
+ Must be comfortable working with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), navigating through web pages and e-mail. Must possess basic keyboarding skills.
+ Aseptic Technique a plus
+ Fill Experience a plus
**Specific Job Requirements**


+ Adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) at all times
+ Make any suggestions that might improve procedure/process
+ Cross-train in other areas, as required
+ Initiate and close deviations and product failure investigation
+ Write or revise Standard Operating procedure (SOP) and Batch records
+ Perform training to new employees or train manufacturing personnel with a new SOP's revision
+ Assist coordinate manufacturing schedule with Manufacturing Supervisor(s)
+ Perform preparation and sterilization of filtration/filling components
+ Perform vial inspection/labeling & packaging
+ Work in clean room environment and participate in aseptic operations
+ Assist in formulations and extractions
+ Ensure training is current for self/team members
+ Observe safety during working hours. Report potential unsafe conditions. Use protective personal equipment (PPE) when working in the labs or handling hazardous materials.
+ Help with and execute validation related tasks as needed
+ Perform other duties as assigned
