We are proud to offer an exciting long-term temp. opportunity to work as an Manufacturing Associate at a Biotechnology Company located in Fremont, CA.

Long-Term Temporary Assignment.

Pay is $20 – 21/hour

**Candidates must be flexible to work any shifts (day or night shift), including weekends and over time!**


+ Sunday – Wednesday, 7am – 7:30pm
+ Sunday – Wednesday, 7pm – 7:30am
+ Wednesday – Saturday, 7am – 7:30pm
+ Wednesday – Saturday, 7pm – 7:30am
+ All shifts get every other Wednesday off
We are looking for an outstanding Manufacturing Associate to assist our Operations Team in South San Francisco. The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for the production of custom gene-based products and/or various intermediates according to established SOPs and complete manufacturing batch records to contribute to the daily production schedule.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**


+ Manufacture of high-quality custom gene products in a high throughput MFG lab according to established SOPs.
+ Operation of robotic laboratory equipment (Hamiltons and similar systems) and traditional lab equipment (bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, HPLCs, Next-Gen Sequencing etc.)
+ Knowledge and use of traditional molecular biology processes and techniques
+ Preparation of reagents and subassemblies for MFG processes
+ Maintaining thorough, accurate and detailed documentation of all work produced in batch records, databases or other acceptable formats including problems and deviations
+ Updating and writing work instructions and documentation
+ Ability to work independently and in a safe manner
+ Attention to details for process consistency
+ Documentation, troubleshooting and addressing process deviations
+ Packaging products
+ Ability to work in an ISO, GMP, LEAN MFG environment and follow the lean manufacturing concepts
+ Daily completion of assigned tasks to keep MFG on track
**Education and/or Experience:**


+ Associate’s Degree in a Science Related Field is a Must!
+ Bachelor's Degree in Science is highly preferred.

+ Experience working with MS Excel and Word.
+ Familiar with ERP software; SAP experience helpful.
+ Knowledge of basic manufacturing and supply chain concepts (Kanban, etc.).
+ Experience with ISO, GMP, and LEAN-manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
+ Relevant experience in a life sciences or biotechnology manufacturing environment, including an understanding of the chemicals and hazards typically found in such environments.
+ Ability to read and interpret Certificates of Analysis.
+ Ability to comprehend and convert between different physical units of measure, including metric volume and weight measures.
+ Possess a strong sense of customer service.
+ Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Able to lift 50 pounds and operate a pallet jack.
+ Must be flexible to work any shift.
